West Highland Line

Renowned for the beautiful views it offers, the West Highland Line runs from Glasgow's Queen Street Station to Mallaig and Oban on the West Coast of Scotland. “A well organized trip with an exceptional tour manager. Plenty of interesting places to see along with amazing scenery. Hotels stays were very comfortable excluding the Murcure in Edinburgh. Several issues with the lift and plumbing. The walk from the station was prolonged and difficult. Otherwise a fantastic trip and thoroughly enjoyed.

“The scenery was terrific, but there were disappointments. Scheduled time in various locations was too short to be of much value, and the promised return trip on the Jacobite express turned out to be one way. The Glasgow city hotel was booked as 4star, in reality no inspector would give it more than 2! Service was slow, food was bland, and rooms were very similar to a Premier Inn. However, the tour guide was knowledgeable and efficient and made the trip a success.
