“Excellent trip. Staff at Grand hotel so efficient kind and caring. Always cheerful. Food was amazing. Rooms very clean ..hot water at all times, tea coffee and biscuits refilled every day. Only one complaint. Room103 was too noisy. Next to seats outside station, anti social behaviour at night.

“An excellent short break to see the best of the Isle of Wight. Good hotel well located by the beach at Sandown, with a decent choice of quality meals. Each day was well planned out to maximise time to see the islands charming scenery and places of interest such as The Needles, Carisbrooke Castle, Yarmouth, Osbourne House, The Isle of Wight Steam Railway etc., mainly done by coach (driver had excellent knowledge of the island) as well as by the local train.

“The trip was good value and the outings were interesting. The hotel was comfortable and well located except for the fact that bedrooms overlooking the football stadium had constant noise from some kind of machinery. The food was plentiful but not wonderful.
