Unfortunately it was a diesel engine and not a steam engine pulling the Severn Valley train

Not suitable for persons with walking/stamina problems. Too much time being left in town/cites with nothing of interest, just shops and coffee shops

A very enjoyable experience with good company, very good food, a helpful Tour Manager, comfortable accommodation in delightful Worcester and enjoyable excursions to Bridgnorth, Broadway and Tewkesbury Abbey. Cheltenham disappointed. One of the rail journeys ( SVR) was unfortunately diesel-hauled until we changed - by choice - to a later steam service.
