Plan something special with 3 special destinations we’ve been looking forward to revisiting this year

22 December 2020

While travel in 2020 has mostly been put on hold, including many birthday or anniversary celebration holidays, we've used the time we usually spend on holiday to dream of the locations we want to visit when we're able to. Here's a selection of the destinations we're keen to revisit in the upcoming year.

North York Moors Railway

One of the most scenic and impressive railway journeys you can do in England, this is a firm favourite of both ours and our customers. Travelling over the moorland and through one of the oldest railway tunnels in the world, it's high up on our list. And let's face it, it wouldn't be us if we weren't keen to explore the world by train!

Chur, Switzerland

Another location we visit after a breathtaking train journey, Chur is Switzerland's oldest town and one of our favourite places to stop off when travelling. We don't know if it's the surrounding Alps, the sense of history when walking the streets of Chur, or just the friendliness of the local people, but we're sure you'll love it too.

Cinque Terre, Italy

Located in the North West of Italy and perched along the coast of the Italian Riviera, the Cinque Terre is a collection of five villages and towns that once made a life for themselves fishing. Today however, they are well known for the brightly painted buildings set amongst the coastal rock and forest. While people opt to walk between the towns, we travel by rail and boat making the most of the magical views of the Mediterranean.

We hope you're as excited to get out there and explore the world as we are, whether it's an all new location, one you've been burning to see once more or something special to make up for this year. It's time to make your Travel Resolution a reality.
