Hotel facilities good. Very noisey dining room. Some visits quite strenuous. Beach interestingly rocky but little sand.

Poorly planned itinerary with an ineffectual tour manager dishing out tatty re-cycled maps for excursions. Hotel isolated without access to public transport, the food very good but served in a large noisy "canteen" type room. Accommodation good.

Too long days. Early starts with little chance to sit and relax to enjoy every visit. Excellent value for money and the hotel was first class.

Puglia is a beautiful area to discover. We would give the hotel **** for cleanliness and food, however the location is quite remote and the dining room is large and echoey. Not good if you like walking out in the evening or intimate dining. The places we visited were all interesting but we had early starts each day and only 2 train journeys. The guided tours although interesting were long and some guests found the terrain difficult especially the steep steps visiting the Sassi houses. We were often held up by less able members of the group. This is not a holiday for sitting around and relaxing, several days we walked over 20,000 steps!

Excellent but three small problem areas. 1. Tour leader did not know area. First daycpoorly lead, but test ok. 2. It's a holiday centre. 500+ people in the dining room. Refractory tables. Poor for getting to know people. Some silly rules such as no ginger ale for drinks. Nit on the package. Stupid. 3. Hundreds of TV channels but no brit. We watched news on France24 in english version. Surely they could at least arange BBC NEWS.

The tour guide was useless and the ‘day’ trips were all condensed into two hours with the rest of the day ‘free’. Time could have been allocated much better and at a more leisurely pace .
