The train trips were excellent but the New Year Eve was disappointing. No music, no fireworks. Seven course meal good. Not a venue for New Year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, all of the hotels that we stayed in were very good with friendly staff and delicious food. The group size of 35 was manageable and we met some lovely people. The New Year's Eve gala dinner in Tiefencastel was superb and the whole evening was a great way to see in 2023. We thought that the packed lunches provided were just right for days out exploring and while there wasn't as much snow in places as there should have been the scenery and views were still spectacular. Our tour manager Elizabeth did a wonderful job throughout the trip, making sure tha everything ran smoothly and we didn't miss a single connection!! It was lovely to have a free day to explore the local area of Tiefencastel and we are keen to revisit the area at a different time of year.

With another group at hotel We were placed in side room for meals and felt slightly second class citizens Lack of community space as no bar area Meant about 100 guests fighting over approx 8 seats in hotel lobby Food good Rooms adequate Tea /coffee in rooms would have enhanced experience
