One of the best ways to see the rumbling power of Mount Etna, the narrow-gauge Circumetnea Train follows a route encircling this awesome stratovolcano, stopping along the way at some quaint stations. It begins at Catania, on the coast, before heading inland on a semi-circuitous route which brings you back round to the shoreline and the harbour town of Riposto. On this tour, join the train at Adrano and disembark in Randazzo, travelling along the most scenic section of the line to discover the special volcanic landscapes.
