EuroNight Sleeper Service

The Cologne-to-Vienna sleeper service is a EuroNight service operated by Austrian Railways, which leaves Cologne shortly after 8pm and arrives in the Austrian capital a few minutes before 9am the following day. Sleeper compartments for the journey are two-berth (upper and lower) standard sleeper compartments with a washbasin. There is space to store luggage below the bottom berth, above the door and above the window. For daytime parts of the journey, the lower berth converts into a couch. Upgrades are available to deluxe en-suite cabins with WC and shower.

As you board the train, an attendant will welcome you onto the train and direct you to your cabin. There are 11 standard cabins, plus two deluxe en-suite cabins in each of the sleeping cars. Beds have fresh, clean linen, a pillow, duvet and an individual reading light. Towels, soap, a small welcome drink and chocolate, as well as mineral water, will be provided for the journey. Although the train does not have a restaurant, buffet car or trolley service, you can order room service drinks and snacks from the attendant. Alternatively (and preferably for most), you are permitted to bring food and drink on board to consume during the journey.

After travelling through the night, a light breakfast in delivered to your cabin by the attendant. Breakfast choices are selected from the basic menu in the evening.
