What’s included

Day 1 - Norwich

You holiday begins today in Norwich, where you meet your Tour Manager at your hotel, enjoying a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie upon arrival. After checking in, you're free to settle in or begin exploring.

Day 2 - Norfolk Broads Cruise

Enjoy a Christmas Eve to remember today as you embark upon a special Christmas Eve cruise along the Norfolk Broads, from Wroxham. The Norfolk Broads comprise Britain's largest nationally protected wetland reserve and are renowned for the natural beauty of their diverse landscapes. Enjoy mulled wine and mince pies on board as you gently cruise past the icy woodlands that line the banks, alongside informative commentary - a wonderful way to get into the festive spirit.

Continue your explorations of scenic Norfolk this afternoon with a guided walk through the Woodland and Water Garden at Fairhaven. Located in the heart of the Broads, these pretty gardens span 130 acres, and contain almost four miles of scenic woodland pathways. The beautiful and historic city has much to recommend it. Dominated by a magnificent Anglo-Norman cathedral built in 1096, Norwich is a pleasing jumble of historic and modern architecture, its shopping streets and open squares revealing museums, medieval churches, public gardens and other attractions seemingly at every turn. At Christmas, the city takes on an even more magical quality, with pretty fairy lights and festive decorations brightening up the streets.

The food was great as well as accommodation . No rushing around and plenty to see. The tour manger was great as well as the coach driver explained things as we went along. The wife was very happy with all these things.

A good way to spend the Christmas period in general. Good selection of excursions. Hotel rooms were good, but otherwise had the usual Holiday Inn problems. Food was generally OK, occasionally good and on one evening awful.
