Excellent hotel with friendly staff. Enjoyable excursions and friendly fellow travellers. Plenty to keep us occupied but with down time if needed.

Excellent holiday, very well organised, the trips were well thought out and added to the experience. The hotel was a little tired and in need of updating, but food and staff were of a high standard. The only downside’s were no air conditioning in hotel rooms we were there during the heat wave. In your booklet it clearly states air conditioning in bedrooms. The hotel opposite train station so very noisy during the night.

Hotel management were unhelpful distant and on occasion rude to all the members of our group. From 8.45pm every 15 mins and all through the night freight trains with 30 carriages thundered through the station which was 10 yards from the hotel. The temperature was 28 degrees while we were there and we were refused tap water. The food was boring .

All went well. There were some changes enforced by end of season closures and the Rhine being low on water, but adaptions were quickly made by the tour Manager so there enjoyment was not affected. Hotel was good, food good and very friendly staff.
