Days 1-2 – London & Leysin

Meet today at London St Pancras, where you and your group board the Eurostar to Paris, continuing to Lausanne and Aigle, before coming to a stop in charming Leysin.

Enjoy a free day on Day 2. Located close to the eastern end of Lake Geneva, Leysin is a charming, traditional Swiss village which sits against a striking mountain backdrop. Perhaps take the opportunity to explore your surroundings further; one option is to visit Le Kuklos, a revolving restaurant which sits at the top of the Berneuse Mountain and boasts panoramic views over the lake and mountains.

Leysin
Day 3 - Montreux

Travel by rail through spectacular countryside today as you pay a visit to glamorous Montreux on the shores of Lake Geneva. A stylish Swiss town, Montreux boasts an ancient history and fascinating culture, and is home to many world-class events including the iconic Montreux Jazz Festival.

Spend time here exploring the winding streets and possibly visiting the magnificent Chillon Castle, a stunning medieval fortress just a short distance from the town.

Days 4-5 - The Mont Blanc Express

Journey on the Mont Blanc Express, riding the length of this scenic line across the French border to Chamonix. Decorated in the colours of the Swiss flag, the train boasts panoramic windows which allow you to make the most of the classic Swiss and French Alpine landscapes. Your journey culminates in the spectacular sight of glistening glaciers and the majestic Mont Blanc - truly a holiday highlight.

Day 6 - Discovering Zermatt

Travel to the splendid Swiss resort of Zermatt, settled in a stunning valley under the shadow of the magnificent Matterhorn. Zermatt is largely car free, which makes it a pleasure to explore on foot. You have some free time here to soak in the views and atmosphere.

Day 7 – Leysin & London

Bid farewell to Switzerland today as you travel by rail from Leysin to Aigle, and on to Geneva. From here, join the rail service to Paris and catch the Eurostar to London St Pancras.
