Itinerary

Days 1-2 - Worcester

Arrive in the ancient cathedral city of Worcester today, situated a short drive away from the gorgeous Cotswolds. After meeting your Tour Manager, there is plenty of time at leisure to acquaint yourself with the city ahead of your first dinner together this evening.

On Day 2, you are further introduced to Worcester on an informative guided tour. Discover the history of the city, which goes right back to 400 BC, and view Worcester's incredible cathedral, which was founded in 680 AD. You also find out about the more modern history of the city, when it was a centre of manufacturing during the Industrial Revolution, and as the home of Worcester sauce.

Day 3 - Christmas Day

Enjoy a full day of leisure, punctuated by delicious food today. Beginning the morning with a buffet breakfast, you are free to enjoy Worcester until lunch, where you are served a fabulous four-course meal. You are again at leisure this afternoon, and this evening, a light buffet supper is served.

Day 4 - Severn Valley Railway

Take a lovely scenic drive to Bridgnorth today. Located on the banks of the River Severn, this is a delightfully quaint little town that retains many features from its long history, including the ruins of a beautiful Norman castle. After time to explore, head to the station to journey on the Severn Valley Railway to Kidderminster. A short journey, which takes you through the bucolic majesty of the surrounding landscape, and is a truly lovely way to see the countryside.

Days 5-6 - The Cotswolds and Home

After a morning at leisure, head to Broadway, known as the 'Jewel of the Cotswolds'. A gorgeous little town, a lot of the buildings have been built from honey-coloured Cotswold stone, you enjoy time here for lunch. Next, head to Moreton in Marsh, a small market town with a history that dates all the way back to the Iron Age. After time to explore, you return to the hotel for a final meal together.

After breakfast on Day 6, you are free to return home in your own time.
