Good choice of hotel. We particularly enjoyed the day out on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway and the visit of the engine shed and "Rail Story" commented by enthusiastic volunteers and also the village of Haworth with the Bronte heritage. The coach driver was very knowledgable and also provided us with comments all the way to Whitby.

Went on same trip two years ago and was excellent as we had a brilliant tour guide. Very professional. This time the tour guide got the coach driver to do all the tour information. Treat like school children. Disappointed york guided trip was cancelled before hoilday and not told. Haworth bronte passonage should of been a time for all of us to go in and not just turn up whenever. Train tickets not handed out until back on coach to hotel. Did asked about tickets after train journey she said she couldn't hand out on train but had to wait for train so could of given out on platform. Had to ring my husband to come back to station to walk back with all of us. Told to be on coach by 9.50am or coach wouldnt wait. People were late getting on coach. First day out a lady was late and she made a few comments about her but nothing was said about the lady we waited for. The hotel was amazing, staff were friendly, housekeepers did a great job every where was spotless. If l didnt like the vegartian main they did something else for me. I would of scored four for them but hubby said 3 because of tour guide. We tipped the coach driver not the tour guide . The stream train guides were brillant . Did not see Kath on morning leaving as left at 8.30am. I know it was her first trip in a year as her husband had a stroke . Maybe we were so impressed on our tour we expected the same service !. It was good she rang everyone before the trip but that was the main professional service and giving out the tour information on the first day.. No one recognised her as wrong photo send out by the company . Enjoyed the trips love Haworth. Very disappointed that the coach did not take you up to the monastery this time. Told to get the tour bus.
