Decorated in the colours of the Swiss flag, the Mont Blanc Express travels against a superb backdrop of crisp Alpine peaks, mountain lakes and cheery chalets. Running through the magnificent Chamonix Valley, the panoramic windows are designed to make the most of the classic Swiss and French Alpine landscapes for which this area is justly famous. Our route takes the train from Martigny in Switzerland, all the way through the valley to Chamonix in France, stopping at several charming railway stations on the way.

“A tiring holiday due to the hotel change. Unfortunately it added an extra hour to the journey to get anywhere. The hotel was lovely, fantastic helpful staff, excellent food but some portion sizes were toooo big. Although the hotel had a lift, the stairs at the front were difficult for older people and the restaurant was only accessible by an outside steep staircase. The guide was very efficient, helpful and very sympathetic to peoples' needs. She had a good knowledge of places visited and gave good instructions of times and what to do.
